Welcome to the Basis Points blog. After 17 years at CFA Institute, I decided it was time for a change. My goal with Basis Point Solutions is to help asset managers and asset owners in the implementation and use of the GIPS standards and the Asset Manager Code. I will be blogging, as time allows, on a variety of topics that are of interest to me and, I hope, to you. I look forward to your comments and questions and will do my best to respond to them all. I hope to enlighten, encourage, entertain, and engage…and I promise to keep it short.
